A few additional tips:
1. Dual Heat / Single Heat Switch: For normal lamination this should be on dual-heat. For mounting to heat activated adhesive foam board choose single-heat.
2. Fan On / Off: Unless laminating VERY thick film (5 and 10 mil) fan should be off.
3. Temperature: For 1.5 and 3.0 mil film you can use 7 as a starting point. Speed and temperature settings may need to be adjusted depending on the media being laminated.
4. Speed: The recommendation for 3.0 mil film is 2, while 1.5 mil film can be set at 3. 1.5 mil film can be run faster because it melts quicker. Speed and temperature settings may need to be adjusted depending on the media being laminated.
